The Zion Mojave area is region that is named in the The Washington County Growth and
Conservation Act of 2006 that was submitted to congress. It is still being discussed and debated. Controlled growth and wilderness protection is what many people in Southern Utah would like. The steep and rugged Hurricane Cliffs form the most outstanding feature of another proposed Blackridge Wilderness.
